Sigma is seeking a Software Engineer to perform the following duties: analyzes business users’ needs and then designs, develops, codes and tests software to meet those needs using expertise in Java/J2EE and related technologies. Gathers requirements, interacts with business users, and transforms requirements into functional specifications. Designs or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area individually or as part of a team.
The position will report to our Dallas, TX office and requires travel to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to work on short-term and long-term projects.
We require Master in CS, SE, IE or rel. IT or Eng’r field, + 1 yr of exp. designing, developing, coding, & testing software w/ Java, Java Script, J2EE, Spring, Web Services, Oracle, Maven, SVN, Junit, Hibernate, JDBC, & Servlets.
